Re: Documentation? (e.g. for Object Menu)

Sorry to hear you're running into problems! *Yes* we need some documentation. As you note, all the information is scattered around, and needs to be brought together. More on that in a moment. To your specific point - there's a maximum number of 'object type' buttons you can have in the upper right c...

Re: how u make many higgs in levls?

You can make extra higgses by editing the level code you get in the editor. "h" is the symbol for higgs, and if you figure out the structure of it all, you can add in more than one higgs. (different letters represent different tile types, and the numbers represent how many blank spaces there are) On...

Re: Swing Explorer

I'm not exactly sure, but I think it's the tension in the rope! Interesting - but doesn't the tension you're noticing in the rope aim towards the point the swing is hanging from? How could that force accelerate the swinger side-to-side... wouldn't it just be able to accelerate them towards or away ...

Re: Determining, which electrically charged fluids will sink on an electrically charged sphere?

This is a very complicated question. And I can't say I know the answer.

The one point that stands out to me is: why does the (mass) density of the fluids matter?

Or put another way, when I see oil floating on top of water, neither of them are accelerating.

Re: walking perpendicular slows down bullets?

Seems to me like you might be noticing a time effect. If you pull up a level with a clock in it -- or bonus level 43/44, for instance, with bunches of clocks -- you can test this effect out yourself. Basically, things you accelerate towards are advanced in time, and things you accelerate away from a...

Re: Simulating a solar sail

Hmm, the sim isn't designed with solar sails in mind, so I'm not exactly sure. It depends on what it would mean to simulate a solar sail. I think the closest you could get would be to build a solar system with just a star and your 'solar sail'. Then modify the force of gravity (in a way that would r...
