That's no coincidence (well, the PI thing is) -- the actual equation for a circular orbit is: speed = sqrt(G*M/d) (Assuming the asteroid has negligible mass, which it does.) Showing off gravity wells is a neat idea. Even if it'd be too slow to render those *all* the time, maybe I could add it as a snapshot-thing. It's only an option when the world is paused, say. I also really want to show off Lagrange points. Showing a snapshot of the wells would do that, for starters....

Man, that's a pretty dastardly level to try and get perfect on. I'm down to 43, though. I'd guess my strategy is similar to your method, using the right-most two columns pretty exclusively. I was bummed that (not having a PC) I couldn't play the Stranger Loop *before*. But now that I see that whacked-out diagram you drew, I'm *really* bummed! Gotta see if I can mooch off a PC-owning friend. Seems brain-tingling.
