Re: Welcome!

Hi, I'm 19683. Welcome! (Thanks to google) I know it's some large power of three. I sense there's a story behind that login? Hi. I agree, this way I don't have to fill Andy's inbox full of e-mails! A real time saver for me! ;) Then again, I imagine the forum might be its own time-sink... If I'm on ...

Re: r^-5 "Orbital Decay"?

That certainly would make space travel a lot easier. And compulsory. You could visit all the galaxies. At once. In some roiling ball of incredibly hot matter condensed at the heart of the universe. Not necessarily.. The universe is isotropic (I think) and infinite, so one will be pulled from all si...

Re: r^-5 "Orbital Decay"?

It would actually be like springs are connecting every atom (and subatomic particle?!) ;)

Re: This weird level I made

I actually never tried using only the right most columns, I tend to go to the middle for some reason. I'll try that.

Edit: I'm getting worse at this, I got 48 XP

Re: This weird level I made

I got it down to 44 moves. I don't remember all of it, but it involved creating a "neutrino transport tube" in the end.

Re: Calling all Suggestions

I suppose we could add gravitational or effective potentials, to show things like Lagrange points.

Would be cool, but might slow down rendering a bit.

This weird level I made

[Diagonal:0:maaaaazhtaaaaazztaaaaaztammtaaazaaamtaamaaaatmaasaaaaama] I'm not actually sure if it's advantageous to annihilate the diagonal first, as you would need to "manufacture" more oscillated antineutrinos, which would take more moves.. But with it in the way, it takes longer to mov...

Re: r^-5 "Orbital Decay"?

That's interesting! I'd have never though of that. ..I did some sciencing, and found that the orbital velocity of a r^-2 is approximately v=31.419*d^(-1/2), with this code and some excel: Gravity Fun at TestTubeGames.com: [ForceG: -2,Qual: 1,Zoom: 1,xSet: 96,ySet: 2], [x0: -103,y0: 21,vx: 0,vy: 0,t0...
