As said before, this sim really does need collisions/mergers, along with custom colors. That way, we could simulate planet formation and tell the stars/planets/dwarf planets/asteroids apart from one another. Please give an ETA on the update, if possible, hopefully within 34 days because I want it to...

I wonder what orbits would look like with an r^(1/r) gravity law. At large distances, this would approximate r^0 (you know what that looks like), but at small distances, such as r<50, it would act different. With 0.5^r, you probably couldn't make a stable, non-circular orbit, like r^-3.

Oops. I forgot to put a ^-1 on the M. Here's a fixed equation: P=(1/G^n)*2pi*r^((1-e)/2), where n is the correct exponent for this equation to work (still trying to find the right n value, probably 0<n<2) For e=-3, orbital velocity is basically reduced to 1/r. Equations for Orbital Period and Velocity
Here's some equations:
1. Orbital Period:
P=G*r^((1-e)/2) where G=force of gravity, r=average orbit radius, and e=gravity exponent
2. Velocity:
V=(G^(1/2))*r^((e+1)/2) (seems to fit for e=-2 and e=1)
I hope I got this right. I used trial and error to figure these equations out.
