Re: Suggestions! (new)
Any news on Gsim? It seems there have been almost no posts (other than mine) since Shocktopus 0.6 was released.

Re: Version 0.6
Why won't 0.6 load this level? It's stuck at the "Charging" screen: [The Electric Shocktopus-"Charged Shanty"-eNrtmk2OgzAMhe/C2gucX3GWUbe9QLtDc/cJFUmZEmJHQhUQuwGq9MtTGz2eUoURrlMap1Yq9IQEAlqYNNRQpjwgU4nWwTJXocT7RvMkbf3Et1ZpNpMauiKY1AJXRpeKFPyhSuBr5fKArPo8JM/rl742/zqXetlX5uP4Zhy7Zw...

Re: Suggestions! (new)
Any news? I've been waiting for more functions to use in gravity laws (such as the Gamma and Zeta functions). Also, dust could be given a mass of 0.001 per particle to avoid the 0+0=1 scenario.

Re: Imaginary Force
Think of it as the tangent force in GSim. If you wanted to see what happened in a universe with a force law of 1/r^2+e^(ir)=1/r^2+cos(r)+i*sin(r), you would put it as gravityF=1/r^2+cos(r), tangentF=sin(r). Basically, imaginary forces are perpendicular to real forces, copied directly from the comple...

Re: Version 0.3 (Beta!)
How do I complete level 34? I'm able to reach the star at bottom, but I can't figure out how to get back up.
EDIT: I used Key #3 to download it.
EDIT2: WHY does the game take so long to paste text when I hit Ctrl-V to paste into the level editor?

Re: Gravity Art Megathread
If you leave the zoom the same, the words spell out this: A Wise Man Once Said Welcome To Earth. But then the objects come back in and read this (doesn't make much sense): Once Said Welcome Said Welcome Said Once Welcome Earth Welcome Said Welcome Said Welcome Earth Said Said As you can see, the ast...

Sorry for rushing you, but it's been a month, and you haven't posted any news about the next version. What's taking so long?

Where are the L1, L2, and L3 points located?
I'm trying to figure out where the L1, L2, and L3 points are for a given f(r) and masses M and m. So far I've found this, which shows how L1 is calculated, even though it's only for 1/r^2. At the bottom, it says how to calculate L2 with a slight change in equation: http://www.phy6.org/stargaze/Slagr...
