Re: I made Gravity Simulations in Excel
To help with replicating the factorial law simulation for Row 2 Increments=0.00000025, X-Position of Planet=9.00, Y-Position of Planet=0, X-Velocity of Planet=0, and Y-Velocity of Planet=6000. To help with replicating the inverse factorial law simulation for Row 2 Increments=0.00005, X-Position of P...

Re: I made Gravity Simulations in Excel
I did some more of the simulation using the inverse cube law First though Third Spiral inverse cube Law Simulation.png Also these are the excel files I used. I had to shrink them down to the minimum amount of information needed to replicate the data needed for the graphs as when I had them filled to...

I made Gravity Simulations in Excel
I figured out how to simulate orbital motion in Excel using time step increments, formulas, and graphs. I started by simulating orbital motion using the inverse square law First Year Inverse Square Law Orbit.png Every Year Inverse Square Law Orbit.png I also simulated an orbit using the Linear Law E...

Re: (r^-3)/(cos(r)+rsin(r))
The way I built those systems was by flinging planets at distances and velocities I thought were most likely to be stable a bunch of times until I would finally get ones that would orbit the star. Most would either be repelled by the star at some distances causing them to fly off into space or reach...
