Hi, I'm 19683. I've been addicted to velocity raptor for a while...
I just registered, and it's nice to have a forum!

Welcome! (Thanks to google) I know it's some large power of three. I sense there's a story behind that login?19683 wrote:Hi, I'm 19683.
A real time saver for me! Then again, I imagine the forum might be its own time-sink... If I'm on here too much, chastise me and tell me to go make some games, okay?robly18 wrote:Hi. I agree, this way I don't have to fill Andy's inbox full of e-mails!
Don't say that. Trust me.testtubegames wrote:If I'm on here too much, chastise me and tell me to go make some games, okay?
Yes, there is a story. I was reading about tetration, and I wanted to calculate 3 tetrated by 3. I should have calculated 3^27=7625597485*(10^3), but i made a mistake and calculated 3^9=19683.testtubegames wrote:Welcome! (Thanks to google) I know it's some large power of three. If I could, I would colonize the universe with trillions of clones of you making awesome games.robly18 wrote:Don't say that. Trust me.testtubegames wrote:If I'm on here too much, chastise me and tell me to go make some games, okay?
If we could, we'd make ten clones of you and put you all working on games. And maybe take one of you to lecture us about science stuff.
Heh, when I saw your username, I actually recognized that the number had some meaning, but didn't remember what. Then I put it into wolfram alpha, which immediately gave me 3^9, and realized I should have known that.19683 wrote:Yes, there is a story. 7625597485*(10^3) was too long to memorise, so 19683 became my favorite number.
I love wolfram alpha.A Random Player wrote:Heh, when I saw your username, I actually recognized that the number had some meaning, but didn't remember what. Then I put it into wolfram alpha, which immediately gave me 3^9, and realized I should have known that.
