Forum downtime?

Post by robly18 »

Anyone else experienced some downtime earlier today?
Not restricted to the forums either. The main website was down too.
I just want to make sure I'm not crazy, and maybe ask Andy for an explanation of what happened.

Same here. It's back up now. ("thanks captain obvious" :P)

I think this had happened once or twice before.

$1 = 100¢ = (10¢)^2 = ($0.10)^2 = $0.01 = 1¢ [1]

Yeah, I even tried a different browser and it still didn't work. I even thought my dad had turned the wifi's connection to the Internet off to get me off the computer to do homework.

(Just catching up on the General Chat a bit)

Yeah, the site was down for a handful of hours. It's hosted on HostGator, and they experienced some pretty major downtime that day. (Not just me, but many if not all of the sites they host.) And it's the second time I noticed that happen - the first being a few months ago.

Luckily, the problems seem to be pretty isolated, and quickly resolved.
